You Are NOT an Ordinary Teacher

You were made for this, but you were never meant to do it alone.

Within you is the ability to release the power of God in your classroom. It all starts with knowing who you really are as a son or daughter of God. You’ve been designed for such a time as this to rewrite the face of education and leave behind a legacy that will have lasting fruit.

As intentional teachers we must focus our minds on things above.

We've been raised with Christ and our lives are now hidden in Him (Colossians 3:1-4). We don't belong to the thoughts, the world systems, or the reasoning of this world. What you believe about yourself determines the impact you will have, so let's dig into what the truth is about you, the Kingdom Educator.

First and foremost you are a citizen of God's Kingdom, if you call Jesus your Lord.

His Kingdom is everlasting; it doesn't end (Daniel 7:27). And as citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven we are subject to the mandates of our King Jesus. A king's mandates are very different than laws within a democratic government system because in a kingdom the citizens don't vote. In a kingdom what the king says is law. When he decrees a matter it is so; there's no questioning the king, or doubting his word.

Wow. Let's pause here. When was the last time you read about your identity in scripture and you questioned whether it was true? Our feelings don't get to dictate whether God's word is true or not. He's the King and what he says goes; he doesn't lie (Numbers 23:19). His word, in this Kingdom structure, is received as a decree and because you belong to Jesus you are subject to His word. You belong to the King; you are an heir of Christ, so all the possibilities of heaven are yours-- simply because you accepted Jesus' invitation to open the door of your heart to him. His truth becomes your mandate, your identity, and your purpose. Now that sounds exciting, right!?

But what does this really mean for us as citizens of heaven living in a broken world and also serving in the field of education?

First let's look at some scriptures about the Kingdom of Heaven. In Luke 12:32b NIV, Jesus says "Your Father is pleased to give you the Kingdom!" It sounds like He's saying, it's God's delight to give us His realm, namely Heaven. It has been given to us. It's ours now! Wow. But why? Well in John 10:10 (NIV) Jesus says, "The theif comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life and have it to the full." I want real life that's full up with goodness don't you? God is inviting us into a life of hope, peace, joy, and power to rise above our daily circumstances and difficulties so we can live victoriously right now! We're being called to a higher lifestyle than that modeled by any earthly kingdom. Jesus is saying we can experience the benefits of Heaven here on earth, right now. But I must believe. I must believe the truth of what He says about me. What he says about you is true.

In John 16:33 (TPT) Jesus says, "And everythinng I've taught you is so that the peace which is in me will be in you and will give you great confidence as you rest in me. For in this unbelieving world you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, for I have conquered the world!" We must stand on the truth that because Jesus overcame sin, sickness, and death (1 Cor 15:55, & Isaiah 53:4) and we are in Him and He is in us (John 14:20), we are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus who loves us (Romans 8:37). According to 1 John 5:4b-5 "...our faith is the victorious power than triumphs over the world. So who are the world conquerors, defeating its power? Those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God." If you believe Jesus is the Son of God, your faith overcomes the world!

Your faith carries within it the victorious power to triumph over the power of this world.

Living victoriously and teaching victoriously is all about believing who you really are as a child of the King, whose Kingdom belongs to you. Heaven is your inheritance now. Your Good Father is pleased to give you the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven now (Matthew 16:19). Jesus says to his disciples, "and I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven" (Matthew 16:19). So not only is Father God glad to give you, his disciple (the one who believes Jesus is the Son or God) the keys to Heaven, but Jesus is saying these heavenly keys give you the authority to walk in his name and to bring his Kingdom's perspective and reality to "your" world, your classroom, your home, and wherever you go. You are an ambassador of Christ, Kingdom Educator. You represent the King wherever you go!

Activation Questions:

1. What are two things you've learned about yourself as a Kingdom Educator?
2. How will you think of yourself differently as an educator who's subject to the King's mandates of truth about you in his word?
3. What are some scriptures that are seemingly more powerful now that you've been reminded that Jesus' words about you, as His child, are unquestionable?

  1. Apart from its noisy operation, the da Vinci Jr. is an exemplary little 3D printer. It comes with every little thing want to|you should|you have to} get started and is unhampered by the in depth setup and configuration process that extra advanced printers are. All in all, the QIDI printer is a decent middle floor between the performance of a sophisticated model and the price Embroidery Scissors of a budget one. For that purpose alone, it’s a powerful choice, however if you take the flexibility under consideration, this printer becomes a no brainer for any designer. One of the issues we actually appreciated about this printer is its ultra-simple interface. 3D printing can get pretty technical so having something that’s straightforward to know is a breath of fresh air and can assist less experienced customers really feel extra at residence.
